Miracle Gro 24-8-16 is not that good for blooms or flowers. Does anyone know of a higher phosphate plant food?

ever notice how small the required numbers are on a box of miracle gro? 24-8-16 it's small hoping you don't notice that it's high on the green bushie food and real low on the stuff that makes blooms and flowers. i have heard that some good plant foods will have a middle number of 50 or more. can anyone tell me the name of some high bloom foods?Miracle Gro 24-8-16 is not that good for blooms or flowers. Does anyone know of a higher phosphate plant food?
MASTER GARDENER TO THE RESCUE

';SuperBloom'; 16-56-18 at most good garden centers.

Use as you would the miracle in a box, but wait until you see the difference in your flowers. Much much bigger flowers and more of them. (you'll toss the miracle stuff in the trash after you see the difference)

It costs more because phosphate costs a lot more then nitrogen. The miracle stuff keeps prices low by using lots of the cheap stuff and little of the good stuff hoping you won't notice.

Remember, there is no miracle in a box.Miracle Gro 24-8-16 is not that good for blooms or flowers. Does anyone know of a higher phosphate plant food?
I have used Miricle Grow plant food pellets and also when I plant a new plant, I use the potting soil. I have had great success with this. Don't know of anything else. Sorry
Buy bloom booster by miracle grow, it's about $5.00-$6.00.
go to www.spray-n-grow.com, this stuff is amazing for all plants.
You can buy it- Bloom stuff
Lowes has an Espoma product called Triple Phosphate. That's the ticket.
Hey, look for a very high middle number. The ratios such as 6-6-6- mean leaf, flowers, roots. So, a 10-50-10 provides most of it's benift to flowers. A well balanced fertilizer is any with the same common numbers like the 6-6-6 or 20-20-20. You should be aware that using a 10/50/10 bloom buster product does not give any nutrients to leaves, and roots. The result is that after blooming the plant takes a long rest to readjust to normal fertilizer. This is why so many plants are in great bloom when you purchase them. They are fed a ';bloom buster'; product by the growers, because that is how we want to purchase them.
I use a 20-20-20 mix.

This is suffiicient levels of all three to ensure root growth, flowering and trunk/stem/leafy growth.

You can get it at any plant store/garden center. Its quite common.
