My mature peach trees are in full bloom and it's supposed to get 32 degrees tonight with 2 to 4 inches of snow. Must I do anything to protect the blooms and get a good crop?Should I cover my peach blooms because of frost tonight?
yes cover them but remove cover as soon as temp rises in the Morning.if the sun shines on it for a little while it will scald them.you can also turn the yard sprinkler on the tree,this will keep it from freezing.
